AZ5 Mount with ES ED80?

Any advice appreciated from those with relevant experience!

1. I guess the AZ5 goes on the same tripod as the AZ4, correct?

2. The ES ED80 is a bit of a pain, not have tube rings, and to get the finder uppermost, cannot go on the AZ4 without an L-bracket, and this causes much wobbling.  So, would it go on the AZ5 in the "high profile" position?
