IC1805 Ha Mosaic

This is a 2x4 panel mosaic captured with a ASI183MM P, Optolong Ha filter. The scope was a 8" SkyWatcher Quattro (Imaging Newtonian) with the SW coma corrector. It was guided by a 60mm Starfiled refractor with a ASI120MM Mini camera. Al sitting on top of a DIY hypertuned CGEM. The Capture /Control program was StellarMate. I used the Mosaic Sequence Scheduler to run my sequences. Once started I sat back and never touched a thing until the sequence was finished. I could have set it up to Park the mount and warm the camera, but as my SkyShed Pod Obs isn't self closing I like to do the shut-down procedure myself.

There data for this image was captured over 2 nights running the same sequence. Each panel consists of 6-240 second images with a Gain of 70 and a offset of 8. I always cool my camera sensor to -15C. Processing was all done in PixInSight. For this image I decided to try using "Masked Stretch" rather than "Screen Transfer Function" as STF left me with visible lines of the overlaps to deal with. I will have to wait for the new Moon to capture the Oiii dat and possibly SII data if I chose to go with a SHO image.

I am still refining my work flow for Mosaic Capture and Processing. LOL OSC Mosaics are much easier!
