Moon Jupiter conjunction.

Last day of work this week. I take the dogs out at 3am and see the sky is beautiful!

The moon was very clear and sharp in a good sky. Just a few degrees above it Jupiter was shining brilliantly. 

Twenty minutes later, go out the front with my trash for pickup and it's starting to cloud over!

What a coincidence at half world apart.

At about half past five I was feeding my cat when I noticed the Moon -Jupiter conjunction.

I took some pics with my All View phone.

Latter I checked in Stellarium if it was really a conjunction. The condition is the apparent distance should be smaller than four degrees.

Yes, it was, the apparent distance between the Moon and Jupiter was two deg. and 42 minutes.
