Stacking phone images?

Is it possible to stack images from my phone the same way as a dedicated AP camera? I can take pictures in "raw" format and can set an interval - would it then be the same process to stack them using software on a computer? 

Sorry if this is a silly question, I just want to stretch my legs a bit and get used to stacking software before taking the next step toward a more serious kit.

Have you looked at the DeepSkyCamera app?

Having re-read your post, that wouldn't help you learn the software you might be using with a "proper" imaging workflow.

I don't think software like Deep Sky Stacker cares about the source of the data, so the workflow should be the same.

Good to know, thank you. I've just installed that app on my phone and it looks much more capable - ooo I might be able to have some fun with this! 

Sigh money no object and I'd be on my way to imaging, however until I've got like £2k laying around, it's a waiting game 😅
