1-star alignment EQMOD + CdC

Help ! I am out here, freezing my b*** off and I can't get CdC and EQMOD to play ball. I need to do a "1-star alignment" , I click on 1-star, a window pops up (EQMOD ALIGNMENTG TOOL) and says "Select a star un your planetariun to align to". How do I do that from CdC version 3???

I dont use CDC but in starry night you just right click the star and select slew to xxx

Cdc has a "slew to" but the Accept button never gets active. Except it just did!

Ah I know what you are doing wrong 'cos I did the same! You need to open the alignment first, you know click the 1 star align button BEFORE you select the star to slew to.

well something happened, I managed to do something like a 1-star alignment, I slewed to Saturn and back to Polaris and it got it almost correct. Thanks for the tips!
