For visual and planetary imaging purposes, is a SXD2 sufficent for the refractor  APM 140 SD F 7?

I suspect you will be close the edge with that scope, given the length of the tube. My guess would be it would work given how Vixen are conservative with capacity.

The 140 is a great scope, quite an active thread on CN on 152 flavour, you might get an answer there as 140 owners post there too.
