What a scorcher

I didn't expect any decent seeing tonight due to the high temperature here today.

I thought I would have a look at Jupiter as Saturn is in the local trees, and I was correct it was boilingI used my Meade ETX 90 with a 2x barlow and various eyepieces and I could see a couple of bands and 3 moons but it was a waste of time.

At 11pm I went out with a pair of 10x40 binoculars and had a scoot around the Plough,Perseus the double cluster was good then onto M31 also good the coat hanger and the Pleiades not to bad(winter is on its way).

To scan the area of Cassiopeia is mind blowing  and Allin a t-shirt and shorts,fotunately the mozzies don'tattack me BH
