NGC1499 The California Nebula - playing with colours

Reprocessed this 3 hour HOO capture as a false SHO. No real SII to speak of so I just duplicated the OIII extract. Merged RGB in Photoshop, stripped stars in starnet++ and processed starless image in PS using Camera Raw Filter and Selective Colour to bring out the colours (other than green 🙂). Merged with a reduced star layer and did a general cleanup. Quite like the portrait framing as it brings out the 'flame' aspects I think?
