First pics

Hi folks,

I've recently picked up a second hand DSLR and have attached it to my 8" reflector.

I just wanted to share some of my first pics with you all. This is completely new to me, as is astronomy if I'm being honest really. I hope you enjoy them. Any constructive criticism is appreciated.

Your Jupiter and Saturn are superb.  How did you capture them?

I think that these are great, and also cover quite a variety of targets -- wide-angle Milky Way with landscape, Moon, planets, all from a first collection. Bravo!

Thanks so much. I used a 2x Barlow and recorded a 30 second clip of them each, then processed them.

These are great, I'm quite jealous of your image of Jupiter with the moon passing in front of it! Really great colour too!
