Connorbrad98 Posted July 20, 2021 Share Posted July 20, 2021 On me skywatcher startravel 120mm defocused stars at the edges are appearing slight rugby ball shaped when I focus them they appear to be seagull shaped anyone know what this is ? Possibly, but the most common cause of astigmatism is a low cost wide field eyepiece used in a fast (eg: F/6, F/5 etc) scope.
