IC410 - Tadpoles

This was taken over four nights to make a total of 4 hours 30 mins using 36x300s & 15x360s exposures. It's quite low in the West, where hills block the horizon, so it's quite a short time frame to get the imaging done because it wasn't fully dark until 22:00 last night and IC410 is too low to image buy 00:30.

I used the same setup all four nights, with the exception of the mount. My new HEQ5 arrived from Altair Astro ready for the last couple of sessions and replaced my EQ5. :D

Scope: SW Evostar 100ED DS Pro

Camera: ZWO ASI294MC Pro - cooled to -10°C with L-eXtreme filter.

Captured with APT & PHD2 for guiding.

Pre-processed in DSS - processed in PI.

I think it's come out quite well and the HEQ5 is soooo much better for guiding and has really tightened the stars. :D

C&C's welcomed & thanks for looking.

P.S. Is anyone else seeing the head of a Lion? 🦁
