C/2020T2(Palomar)

Recommended Posts

Because the bright Moon was nearby and it's lighting up the cirrus and haze covering the whole sky I thought it was a good time to look at C/2020T2(Palomar). It's faint and moving fastish. I gave up after PHD2 lost the guide stars in the Moonlit haze :)

20 x 30 with my 250 P-DS and ASI178 camera.

This is an annotaded JPEG of the live stack from ASTAP. I don't think there is enough here to be worth full processing. The gradient from the Moon glow is just about killing it. The movement of the comet is eaily seen but no chance of guiding on it. A few fuzzies in there too.

Maybe I'll get another chance after the Moon is gone and before eternal twilight takes over.
