ollypenrice Posted April 20, 2021 Share Posted April 20, 2021 It is good practice to have bolts protruding down from the front and back of the dovetail bar when you get your mount. They will stop the dovetail slipping down through the clamp on the mount (known as the saddle plate). This is a well proven accident!!!
