POTH or Ascom Device Hub

Hi all , looking for help please,

I use Cartes Du Ciel with my AVX, on connecting the telescope it launches POTH, should I be using Ascom Device Hub?

Is there any advantage, and how would I get Cartes Du Ciel to launch that rather than POTH?

Thanks!

Change the driver in the telescope connection menu to device hub from POTH. Setup device hub in the device hub app to use your telescope.

The advantage is that device hub is supported, POTH is no longer.  Try the ascom groups.io page for further help... or pm me,I use CdC too.

Thanks! For some reason I did not get an alert that I had a reply, so only just seen this!

Main reason for asking was that I wanted a telescope control panel on top when using BackyardEOS, which works with this but not with POTH that I could find.

Backyard EOS does some strange slews if I move the scope from within that app, even though I set it to 10% slew, it runs away at a rate of knots for several lunar diameters sometimes, I'm hoping I might avoid that using Ascom Device Hub.

I'm not seeing in CDC telescope connection menu how to change that?

Is it this?   And the Celestron telescope from within the hub?
