Apart from the fact you have to take an image of M31 every year - well I do - this is taken with my new ASI294MC which I am in the process of learning to drive.

What it lacks in colour it hopefully makes up for in structure. This is 10 x 180s, 120s and 30s all at -20 degrees, gain 120. I've been playing around with the processing and in more skillful hands I'm sure there is colour to be extracted - somewhere.
