heq5 motor problems

hello first post. Posted this question on cloudy nights but never really got any responses. seems that more people have heq5 in the UK than they do on this side of the pond.I have been having problems with my dec motor on my heq5 mount. I have emailed skywatcher about a replacment but have been looking online for a cheaper option . have read a couple of posts that the stepper motor is a nema 14 1.8 degree motor. I have the rowan belt mod so a 5mm shaft will work for me. does anyone out there have any idea if this motor would work as a replacment .
