Help needed please

Hi Stargazers

I Asssembled my CPC 800 yesterday, but could not try it out till today as waiting for the Powertank to be charged

Well I charged up the Celestron Powertank for 20 hours, says it is fully charged. plugged everything in . Red light is lit on the Scope and the Nexstar Handset is lit, but that is it. The manual says that when the power is turned on the Hand set should say CPC READY, but there is nothing on the screen, and the buttons do not respond to any press .

Does anyone have any idea what the problem might be. I hope it is not the scope. Could it be a faulty handset ?.

Hope someone might have some suggestions on something we might have missed. Otherwise i will have to wait until Monday and phone FLO

Possible it could be trying to locate satellite information, it might take 20 minutes to download everything required, take the scope outside power it up and leave it for half hour.

See if that works.

Well in that case it’s quite possible there is a problem, I assume the handset is connected in the correct socket the one furthest away from the on switch?

Brilliant scopes I have the CPC1100.

Yep it is in the correct socket.

It is a bit frustrating, but I will try to be patient and phone FLO on Monday.
