M31 reprocessed

I'm using the midsummer period of no dark to try to improve my image processing skills by going back and redoing old data (for me old data is six months because I'm not at this a year yet!)

This is two new attempts at M31 captured last December with

Canon 1100D Ha mod

Pentacon 135mm at F/4
StarAdventurer mount
20 X 180s Iso800 + 52 X 180s iso 1600
Astronomik CLS filter

Not much resolution in the dust lanes but I think thats just down to image scale.

This first is stacked and gradient removed in APP but then stretched and most everything else done in Photoshop CC.

This second is pretty much all done, including stretching, in APP with only some minor tweaking in PS.

The difference is subtle and I know which I think is best but would appreciate hearing what others think.

This is my first effort at processing back in Decemeber for comparison.
