Barlow recommendations

Recommended Posts

Hello fellow stargazers and planetgazers xD Im also new here and Im searching for the right Barlow lens. I have seen many on the internet, some are way cheap and some are just too expensive. There isn't any in between. So I would like you to tell me is there any brand that you know of that is good quality and not too expensive. Thanks

What scope and eyepieces will you be using the barlow with, or is it for imaging ?

I have a small one, 60/700 and two eyepieces 12,5mm and 20mm

So the two eyepieces you have will give you 35X and 56X respectively. A 2X SW Delux barlow would be a worthwhile addition I think, and would give you 70X and 112X.  It would also be good for any other scope you may advance to in the future.

I agree - the Skywatcher Deluxe 2x barlow would be a sensible choice. It is pretty decent quality for it's cost as well. This one is the same I think:

Thank you both for this advice. I ordered it and hope it gives me a great new experience.

Now Im wondering if there is a smartphone attachment, something universal. But then again is any smartphone capable of capturing what my eye sees in the telescope
