Rodd
Hooray for Ha....its nice to have instant gratification for a change. Its a striking contrast to having to wait weeks to collect 20-30 hours of data. A couple of hours and bam...a respectable vista. I was shooting M101 and the Moon cam eup very bright at 12:00. I couldnt waste the clear sky, and Cygnas had just cleared the trees. I like Mono Ha images, but my long range goal is to shoot this FOV in color to compare with the same target shot with the FSQ and .6x reducer. The FSQ image was an agressive crop and native FL always comes out better. The fact that the FSQ was slightly out of colimation doesnt help. Anyway.....thank god for Ha. I need a several hours more data to reduce noise and improve depth. TOA 130, ASI 1600, 38 300 sec Ha (Astrodon 3nm). Rodd
With more data I will br ablr to render it a bit more dynamically--like this. But for now, until I get much more data, the original post will have to do

I thought that you got that sorted......at least....sent it away to get sorted. Maybe I misunderstood some previous posting way back.
Rodd
I did. But the image in question was taken before it was fixed. And I still haven’t checked it!
