The ASG is holding its first "Tannahill lecture" on 22nd Jan at Strathclyde Uni. The speaker is Tom Boles (BAA) and his talk is "Exploding stars - Their role in Cosmology". We would be happy for any keen "astro-geek" to come along. Tom is a good speaker and the subject is a cracker (please forgive me - just realised what I typed :) ). If you google our website a bit nearer the time, you will get the building and lecture theater details).
