Baader UHC-S 2" Filter any good for use with a DSLR?

I understand that as a general filter for improving emission nebula this is a good choice.

But...

Will it offer any improvement in my images with a DSLR?

Would it reduce the visual ability of an 80mm Scope?

Any advice on this or alternatives would be greatly received.

Thanks Lee.

I think the Baader UHC-S wouuld be a fine choice as a general purpose filter for both DSLR and visual use in an 80mm scope.

It is very similar to Astronomik's CLS filter in many respects. For some reason I sold the Baader instead of the Astronomik as they were so similar. Don't know why I did this as I couldn't really tell teh difference between them...
