Explore Scientific prices going up?

I have my eye on an ES 2x focal extender, and I see today that they are on 'special' on Astronomics. The special is supposedly $30 off, but the list price is $119 which is what it always was. Looks like the non sale price of $149 will be the new price soon.

Is this just US-China trade war stuff, or will prices in Europe be affected too?

Well, 25% of $119 is $29.75, so that would fit Mr T's policy. Probably safer to buy from a 'local' (European) supplier anyway, in case there are problems.
