Wiki -NGC 3226 is a dwarf elliptical galaxy that is interacting with the spiral galaxy NGC 3227. Both galaxies may be found in the constellation Leo.

Taken 26 Feb 19. 45 x 300s Using Atik 4120EX OSC camera on a C11 at 2800mm FL.

Galactic nucleus on the secondary is very bright. Most likely a burst of star formation due to the interaction.  Its elliptical form is very apparent too,  nice shot.
