I work away from home about 7 months of the year in my capacity as a concert sound engineer for a major rock band, which is when I do most of my processing. The other 5 months are my own time so I can afford to stay up all night when there is a clear spell....no work to get up for

Away from home in the music business was great when 20 and single, one's priorities can sometimes change with age though

The time off is great though.
