IC443+IC444 - interesting SHO variant

Hi Everyone,

I've been playing around with the SHO palette in PixInsight using PixelMath and came across a variant on CN that I hadn't seen before, namely:

R = 0.3Ha + 0.7SII

G = 0.2OIII + 0.6Ha + 0.2SII

B = OIII

I applied it to my IC443 and IC444 image and although I personally don't like the end result from a colour point of view it does highlight a marked difference in the make-up of IC443 compared with IC444 - something which isn't anything like as apparent using HOO.

This image was calibrated and integrated in APP, DBE and stretched in PI and combined with PixelMath before a final bit of colour enhancement in PS.
