Meade LXD75 6 inch scopes - any thoughts?

Hello

I've got a friend who has just invested in one of these as a first 'serious scope'. He has asked me to help him with setting it up and I thought I'd canvas here first for any advice/tips with it before confronting it in his back garden. :D
