PST filter barrel adapter.

Hi,

After several prototypes I finally have a secure system to hold the filter barrel of the PST in my modified 6" f/8 h-alpha telescope.
It required a lathe to bore the inside of a 2" : 1-25" eyepiece adapter to 36mm Ø to match the filter barrel.
The outside of the adapter was then turned down to fit inside of the cheap helical focuser from T-S.
In retrospect the PST eyepiece socket could have been left longer provided it was reduced in diameter to fit inside the focuser.

In use, the barrel and its new adapter fit into a 2" to T2 adapter.
The barrel nose [Mair ITF] and adapter go in first and then  the rear BF5 element is crewed in from the rear.
The helical focuser and 1.25" eyepiece holder [with compression band] follow on the rear.
