 What size and thread is the tripod to mount bolt on an EQ5 mount please?

Hi @Bigwings I think you will find they are M10. They are on my Giro & Vixen mounts. If not, then maybe 3/8" BSW.

There was a discussion about this a few months back but I can't locate it right now.

From memory it is usually M10, but may differ. The choice depends on the manufacturer and the age of the kit.

My own experience has been M10 on EQ5 and M12 on EQ6.
