For those that like to listen to astronomy related things while observing, check out "Astronomycast" with Dr Pamela Gay and Frazer Caine.  Always interesting to hear their topic discussions. They cover many subjects from basic  astronomy to astrophysics, and even space travel. Most nights I just enjoy the sounds of nature, but other nights I'll listen to them or other astronomy lectures. I usually listen to cast that relate to my targets.

I'm familiar with that podcast. And you're right; it's a good one.

It's actually been a little while since I've listened. To any podcasts, for that matter.

But if I remember right, Dr. Gay teaches at a university only a couple of hours away from me. Somewhere down in the southern part of Illinois.
