CLS filter question

Is there any problem with using a CLS ccd filter on an unmodded DSLR? Just thinking about getting a 2" one and could then use it on my asi290 and DSLR . Would the additional ir filter on the DSLR cause issues?

My understanding is the CCD CLS filters also act as an IR cut filter whereas the standard CLS filters do not. I can't say whether or not it would have any detrimental effect to have the IR blocking in both the CCD filter as well as an unmodified DSLR. I would imagine the effect to be negligible though.

thats what i'm hoping, would mean i only need one filter for both cameras and if i ever buy a cooled dso camera would go in there too.
