LP - there is hope

To give encouragement to members of SGL, there is some hope over LP.. I live in light polluted Buckinghamshire (the Chilterns), and the following might be of interest..

Concrete dates for a phase 2 switch off of 1000+ street lights. It won't lead to pitch black skies, but nice to see something is being done.

As for crime in my unlit corner of the Chilterns, my neighbour recently reported crunching on our gravel drive, clanking and peculiar whirring sounds late at night.. that was me aligning my scope. The only crime was that the glow of Amersham had wiped out M33!
