my first planets

My very first planets i have spotted were jupiter and three of its moons, then saturn plus rings and 2 of its moons,

and of course mars the red planet i saw that threw a regular pair of 10/60 binoculars. the other planets i spotted were like white spots moving across the night sky like saturn and its rings was a white spot. my telescope wasn't strong enough to bring it in for a closer view. i like viewing the moon tho threw my telescope its just awesome.

What telscope do you have?

The telescope i own is an old one, its a meade model 386D 1000m/m i got it back in the early 1980's for about $180

bucks when they first came out but the thing still works too.
