New way of clamping Finder Guider to a dovetail

Hi I recently bought a pair of these:

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/American-DJ-OSlim-2-Clamp-2-50mm-Slim-Half-Coupler-Truss-Rigging-Light-Stand/182819439716?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2060353.m2749.l2649

As I was despairing of a way of securing the finderguider to the scope while reducing flexure to as little as possible, so I thought I'd give these a go as they have a similer inner diameter to the skywatcher finderscope tube size. Here's the result:

I had to do some light sanding to get the clamps to fit in the dovetail space:

I also had to change the bolt to attach to the dovetail with some of my own as they were too large:

All in all I'm pretty happy with it. It seems very tight and sturdy. Even with the clamps being next to each other because of the spacing of the bolt holes on the dovetail, there doesn't seem to be any movement. One thing I will say is you need to be careful how much you tighten the clamp as it is slightly to small for the tube. The clamp is 50mm, the finder tube is 52mm. If you tighten too much, you compress the tube and the focuser thread becomes very stiff and hard to turn.

There are other truss clamps out there that have 52mm inner size, so they may be a better fit. I took a punt on these so I'll stick with them for now. I've not had the chance to test this set up yet, but it seems pretty secure.
