Moonring on the first day of the year

Happy new year!

Last evening before going to sleep the moon was shining bright in Gemini! A cirrus cloud made it even more special and showed a moonring bright enough that I could barely distinguish some red naked eye.

On the left are Castor and Polux and to the right is Orion, a little less visible.

Camera is a Canon 550D, lens 10-18 set to 12mm, opened at F/5. 1s exposure at ISO1600. ~11PM. Shot taken in Simeria, Romania.
