Luna on the 27th of December

Taken on the evening of 27/12/2017. I wanted to try my ASI1600MM with RGB filters on the Moon using my Takahashi FC-100 at f4.9.

I have taken the best 100 of 2000 frames for each colour using AS3!, I combined the channels using PS then some curve intensity change and slight sharpening with Pixinsight. With hindsight, considering the good seeing on the night (!) I could have imaged at f7.4.

I love portraits of the Moon and there are some incredible entries in this forum...
