Crazy idea for (full disk) FLATs!

Just some random nonsense! But I noted that my (High Power) single
white LED torch, placed on the diagonal of a Lunt 50 (Eyepiece holder
removed) could actually still be SEEN through the objective lens... 

Some in-vogue LED torches are incredibly powerful... Can be seen
through ND5 Solar Filters etc. I started wondering about commercial
multi-LED torches... Making a *matrix* of my "Super Power" LEDs?
Fit some sort of "diffuser" in front of them? A heatsink behind? lol 

There might be some sort of analogy re. using "White screens" etc. 
for "normal scope" flat making. There has to be reasons why not!
