Pillars of creation in M16

This was my first try with OrionUK VX10 newt and ASI178 on a deepsky object. I bought the VX10 for visual observing but then the dark side took me. I thought that I'll use the ASI178 for planetary work from my homemade EQ platform but than a friend nagged me to put the scope on his EQ6 and try the combination on some close-ups. This is what resulted.

Image data:

10" f/4.8 newt 1/10 with lambda primary

ASI 178MC prime focus, ASI120MM guiding on a 50mm f/4 ATM guidescope

Skywatcher EQ6

36 lights taken @ 176s, 257 gain, 340 brightness, 28 lights used, integration time: 1h22min; 10min total darks, no flat, no bias
