Skywatcher Aplanatic Coma Corrector Owners

Hi

Can an owner of the Skywatcher Aplanatic Coma Corrector please confirm whether the shoulder on it is a ring that unscrews or not please?

I am looking to screw it through an adaptor but that shoulder/ring would prevent it.

Sorry, the ring does not unscrew. They never waste an opportunity to make life difficult...

More annoying is that they have taken the original design and ruined it.

The Explore Scientific High Res CC is very similar optically but it has a tuneable top that unscrews to leave a 2" barrel with the optics which terminates in a 54mm thread (approx) . Is this a better option?
