Meade ds-114

I have an old Meade DS-114 electronic telescope. What software out there is compatible to this telescope to run on Windows 10? I have tried compatability mode for Windows 7 but it won't update anything. What do I need to run this scope on my Windows 10? I can change the OS if necessary.

Hi Timothy,

Depends on the spec of your DS.

If it has an Autostar hand controller you can hook it up to most planetarium programmes and W10.

There's Meade's own you can download from their site, and Stellarium which is a favourite here on SGL.

If you only have the basic non-Autostar controller, it won't connect to any software.
