One-shot colour

Since you don't come across many images taken with the Atik 16ic one-shot colour camera I thought I'd post this one of the Eagle. It took an hour in the Genesis. I bought the camera simply as a backup in case of trouble with either the HR imaging camera or the guide camera (it can do both jobs, otherwse I'd have gone for a used DSLR.) I found it was nice to use and might one day go for a high res one shot colour to stand alongside the monochrome, lottery win permitting...

Glad you liked it. Yes, the Southern Milky Way is ust SO good. I'm at Lat 44 here, a fact which appeals. The Helix, the Wild Duck, the Swan, the Trifid, the Lagoon... all show for long enough to get your teeth into.
