Tried to snap a couple pictures of Sirius. No motor drive attached yet. Using a skywatcher 150/750 and a Sony A350.

Nice first shots. What mount do you have?

I think that with your current setup, you should also be able to image a star cluster. Just use short exposures, but lots of them.

Not bad for a start.

Like Wim say, i think you should be able to image star cluster with that setup if you just use bucket loads of raw subs and stack them.
If you could get a motor drive i'm sure you would be able to do much more also. Bright nebula can be captured with surprisingly short exposure.
