Another amateur attempt at the Moon.

A budding astronomer

Recommended Posts

So on December 22 at 6:00 AM I was greeted to a beautiful third quarter moon and clear skies. I brought out my telescope and imaging equipment and decided to image the Clavius crater and the numerous craters round it such as Blancanus, Longomontanus and Tycho which are all visible in the image. It is a poor image but for an amateur just starting out it isn't bad. I have been getting into Lunar imaging and getting the hang of it :). I would like to hear any ways I can improve before I move onto planetary imaging.

Thanks

Adam
