Victoria Kaspi receives honour

In a year that seems to have been filled with obituaries, it's nice to be able to report on someone who's alive and well!

Astrophysicist Victoria Kaspi of McGill University has been awarded the prestigious Order of Canada in the latest distribution of this honour - so a well-deserved congratulations.

Kaspi is a specialist in "zombie stars" or neutron stars and the relationship between pulsars and supernovae remnants. Earlier in Ferbruary 2016 she won the Hertzberg Medal with an interesting million dollar prize.
