20x120seconds ED80 with reducer,HEQ5,Nikon D90.

Pretty pleased how this turned out,although a long way to go looking at some other pics on here.

Was worried about not being spot on with the polar alignment, but doesn't look bad,to me?

Hi sooty. Nice job. What iso did you use? Core is all blown out. This is a really bright nebula so really short exposures are also needed to blend in to the image for the core.

Thanks for the link. Am i correct in thinking that i can take some shorter exposures and use the original saved Tiff file?

Ya take shorter exposures for the core and blend them into your original tif using the method described in the video.
