My first dual mount comprised a dovetail holder and a cheap pan/tilt head fitted to a skywatcher dovetail.

The MKII is a full blown version with two dovetail holders, but the option to remove one and direct fit a camera or a pan/tilt head, as one of its fixings is a 1/4 Whitworth camera screw.

The other dovetail holder with the long screw can be moved inwards so it can be closer to the mount's axis for balancing if the other thing fitted is very light (e.g. a compact camera or webcam with a small lens).

I should have patented it :-)
