Help please with migrating SBIG ST10XME from Windows XP to 7

Hi
I am new to the forum and looking for some help
I have an ST10XME, which previously I have run in Windows XP, with CCD Soft, CCD AP, Sky 6 and Maxim DL (v4). The camera worked well in this setup, although all the drivers etc had not been updatedas the system has been in storage for some years. However I am now trying to migrate the camera onto a new PC running windows 7 with a view to a remote installation running SGPro.
My problem is that I cannot get the camera "seen" by any of the relevant acquisition programmes e.g. CCDsoft, CCDops, Maxim DL v4 or SGPro. I started with a fresh installation on a new PC, installing uptodate SBIG Drivers with SBIGDriverChecker64, and also the last versions of CCDSoft (v 5.00.218) and CCDOps (v5.61). I inotially had some conflicts with AVG and windows firewall, which were resolved by shutting these down. However the drivers seem now to be sucessfully installed and no messages are coming up about not finding drivers.

Drivers now installed
sbigudrv.dll 4.96 build
sbigu64.sys 2.41.0.1338
sbigpcam.hex 2.46
sbiglcam.hex 2.20
sbigfcam.hex 2.25
sbigfga.bin 2004.11.10

The camera is showing up under device manager as a "USB camera with firmware" and is reported as working normally, with sbigu64.sys as the listed driver. However all acquisition programmes report it as not found or equivalent.

The SBIG updater log (not sure if this helps) shows both CCDSoft and CCDops not finding the camera e.g.

My previous experience under WinXP was that, once the rather tricky driver update issues were resolved, the camera was recognised and worked. In Win XP the camera was running with sbigurrv.dll 4.5.2 build 3, sbigudrv.sys 4.06, sbiguldr.sys 1.42, sbigiidr.sys 2.18, sbigfidr.sys 2.11, sbigusbe.sys 1.1, and CCDSoft v 5.00.182 and CCDOps v5.44.
So what is happening now? My understanding was that Win7 should be a good environment for this vintage of SBIG cameras.  I have tried several different USB ports both usb2 & 3, and confirmed that these ports are working with other devices  (although the 2 usb ports on the front are not functioning ??relevant). Although the maxim version may well now be too old to work, I had hoped that CCDSoft and CCDops would be OK.
Any thoughts, advice or sugggestions would be much appreciated
thanks in advance
PS I should add that I have gone back to the old PC with WinXP and all the old driver andsoftware versions, and the camera runs fine
PPS I have also posted this on CN - excuse the duplication

This is now solved from a recent thread on the DL / SBIG site. With the latest driver version it is now necessary to tick (on) Asynchronous USB IO within Configure Driver in the SBIGDriverChecker and then reboot.
