Atik USB Electric Filter Wheel

Anybody using this with something like Maxim ?? Does it work OK.??

I have just started to use Maxim and I want to set up a series of automatic image sequences.

Its not in the Maxim Filter Wheel list - so do Atik provide a plugin or can one from the list be used??

Hi John. I have just taken delivery of the USB Controller from Bern. I had earlier bought the Atik electric wheel. I plugged it in and loaded the software. You also need the Ascom driver Version 5a is current I think.

There is Atiks own little control panel, but I too have Maxim, and it does bring the Atik in. I tried a simulated tri colour image, and it moved the wheel flawlessly after each exposure. So. it works fine for me mate.

PS. I upgraded my Maxim to Version5, and I have not tried the wheel since the upgrade, so I will do that to make sure there are no probs.

I am probably going to do the same as you. ( already have the Atik electric wheel)
