Does anyone image with an ED100?

Morning all.
I've recently acquired a gold tubed Skywatcher ED100 & I was wondering do people image with these? As I would have thought even with a flattener at F7.65 it would seem to be quite a slow scope to image with.

It will be, but F7.65 is not unthinkable. I image very happily with a TEC140 at F7. I guess people prefer the 80 because the focal length is not radically different and the F ratio is faster.

Cheers Olly I'll hopefully give it a trial soon, I've already got an ED80 that I've imaged with although I do usually image with a large Newtonian, which has been ok but looking to use something more manageable, plus I'm not a fan of diffraction spikes either so could be the way to go.
