Celestron Skyportal WiFi Module

Just got this, and have to say I am impressed with how easy it is to set up, and to take control of the 'scope via a tablet.

I hope to use it if it's clear tonight, but in the meantime there are two things I'd like to ask of anyone who has used this module.

# Do you always have to use the Sky Align (3 bright objects) method?

# I've only used Direct Connect Mode.  When would I want to use Access Point Mode?
